Test Environment Rules during a Proctored Exam –

Below are the rules regarding the test environment while you are taking a proctored exam.

1. No other person is allowed to get into the room while you are taking the exam.

2. There must be enough lighting in the room where you are taking the exam, overhead lighting will be preferred but if it is not available, the light must not be behind you at all.

3. Thirdly, you should sit on a clean desk and the walls around your desk must not have anything in writing.

4. The room you are sitting in must be quiet; there should be no noise or music in the environment.

5. Following mentioned items must not be present on your desk during the exam: Paper, Books, Pens, Calculator, Notebooks, Phones and Textbooks

The behaviour of the candidate during Proctored Exam –

As for the candidate, he or she must follow the code of conduct for behaviour during the exam.

1. Candidate must confirm their identity using a photo ID which must have their name and photo on the same side. Your name should be in full name which you use in your edx.org account

2. Candidates must be dressed properly

3. Communicating with any other person during the exam is not at all allowed

4. Use of a phone is strictly prohibited and the candidate must not leave the room during the exam because for any reason
